Why get the Aven HELOC through HomePilot

Everyone can go straight to Aven. Here is what coming through us changes.

Wholesale pricing, passed to you

Aven is offered direct to consumers and at wholesale through licensed brokers like us. We access the wholesale side and pass the savings on, so the same Aven line can cost you less through HomePilot.

A real loan officer, not just an app

You get a dedicated loan officer and the HomePilot team from your first question through funding. We know when a HELOC is the right move and when a cash-out refinance beats it.

Your whole picture, one team

We already handle first mortgages. That means we can weigh this line against your rate, your equity, and your goals, and point you to the option that actually wins.

Check your offer

Answer a few questions on Aven's secure flow. No hard credit pull to see your line and your rate.

Get your line

Approved lines run from $5,000 up to $1,000,000, secured by your home equity.

Step 3

Draw as a card or cash

Use it like a card, or move cash to your bank. Draw again anytime in your five-year draw period, with no fee on later draws.

Step 4

Fixed, predictable payments

Your draws carry a fixed rate and a set term, so you always know the payment.

Why Aven

Card access to your equity

The Aven line works like a card, so your equity is there when you need it.

No fees on subsequent draws

Draw again during your draw period without paying a fee each time.

Aven covers signing and title costs

In-person signing and title insurance costs are covered by Aven, not billed to you.

First or second lien

Keep your first mortgage in place with the line as a second lien, or use it in first position.

Pay off other debt to qualify

Credit cards, personal, student, and auto loans can be paid off and counted to help you qualify.

Lines up to $1,000,000

Owner-occupied homes can qualify for combined loan-to-value up to 89 percent.

Second homes and investment properties

Not just your primary. Non-owner-occupied homes can qualify for lines up to $250,000 at up to 75 percent combined loan-to-value.

Questions, answered

Is there a hard credit check to see my offer?
No. You can check your Aven offer with no hard credit pull, so looking will not affect your credit score. A full application later may involve additional verification.
Why go through HomePilot instead of Aven directly?
Aven is offered both direct to consumers and at wholesale through licensed mortgage brokers. HomePilot accesses the wholesale channel and passes the savings on to you, and you get a real loan officer guiding the whole process at no extra cost.
Which states is this available in?
HomePilot offers the Aven HELOC to homeowners in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas.
How large can the line be?
Lines run from $5,000 up to $1,000,000, based on your credit, equity, income, and property. Owner-occupied homes can qualify for combined loan-to-value up to 89 percent.
How are the rates set?
Draws carry a fixed rate with terms of 5, 10, 15, or 30 years. Your exact rate is based on your offer, so you will see your real number when you check your offer. We do not advertise a rate because yours is specific to you.
What are the fees?
Aven discloses any applicable draw fee inside the application. There are no fees on subsequent draws, and Aven covers the in-person signing and title insurance costs.
Can I use this on a second home or investment property?
Yes. Second homes and investment properties are eligible, not just your primary residence. Non-owner-occupied properties can qualify for lines up to $250,000 at up to 75 percent combined loan-to-value, and up to $100,000 at up to 70 percent for scores from 680 to 720.
Will this affect my first mortgage?
No. The Aven line can sit as a second lien behind your existing first mortgage, so you keep your current rate, term, and servicer.
